About me

This is what I do.

Who am I?

I am a student in college currently planning on receiving a master’s degree in computer science. I love to develop in different programming languages. My main and strongest programming language is the widely-used Java. I have been developing in Java for at least four years now. However, throughout that time I have dabbled in various other programming languages such as Kotlin, HTML, Javascript, CSS, J-Query, Python, SQL, PHP, and most recently C++.

My passion from programming has stemmed from my fascination into the inner-workings of different software aspects. Ever since I was a young child, I was always intrigued about web development and what goes on behind the scenes of the most common webpages we visit today.

For a long time, I avoided the area of web-development since its vastness had intimidated me, and my foundational work with Java had kept me entertained enough. However, I feel like now is the perfect opportunity to deep-dive into it since I understand the very basic fundamentals of computer science so much better.

My goals for software development are to create applications that will further my understanding of common technologies in use. Some of my current interests in the computer science field are in network security, machine learning, and web-frameworks. I also want to continue to learn more programming language such as Scala, Groovy, Rust, as well as further my foundations in the languages I have dabbled with.

Site Goals

This website was mainly created as a playground to further develop my front-end web development skills. I wanted to create a website using the latest fullstack frameworks available. This website will consist of posts containing my thoughts on some aspects of software development fields, as well as tutorials on programming. In fact, I will eventually document on how I built this website.
